Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Approximately 1,200 volunteers help make the Festival happen each year, and assist with raising more than $2 million annually for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Volunteers get the unique opportunity to get hands-on industry training and share an invaluable experience with the rest of their peers. Volunteers work with industry experts and connect with opportunities within their field. Volunteer Roles vary from event to event but fall under four main categories:
Volunteers in these roles will work alongside event managers and production teams and are responsible for assisting with management of other volunteers as well as logistics, set-up, break-down, guest experience and overall flow of event. This position requires prior Festival experience.
- FRONT OF HOUSE (FOH)
Volunteers in these roles will assist with roles such as guest registration, talent ambassadors, survey team, auction associates and general event support.
- BACK OF HOUSE (BOH)
Volunteers in these roles will assist with roles such as logistics, set-up, break-down, inventory and golf cart driving.
Volunteers in these roles will assist with baking and pastry as well as in providing culinary support to chefs including plating and serving.
